Julienne is the first restaurant in Cyprus to introduce a new concept style of dining called “Bistronomy”.
The Parisian Restaurant concept goes back the 90s when young Chef: Yves Camdeborde who opened his first restaurant in the south of Paris, decided to serve excellent bistro dishes, incorporating fine dining gastronomic cooking techniques in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere at affordable prices. The new concept of dining soon became popular around Paris, and gradually spread globally. The etymological name “Bistronomy” the blend of “bistro” and “gastronomy” was baptised by food critic: Stephane Demorand which contributed towards it’s immediate success! Bistronomy is all about bringing together fresh local quality ingredients, simple but delicious recipes, in a warm laid-back atmosphere with the imperative discipline and technique of “haute cuisine” gastronomy.
Julienne was established in 2024 and is directed by Gourmet Chef, Gastronomy Professional and Entrepreneur Koral Karamanoĝlu. Koral continues to lecture in specific fields of Gastronomy and Tourism in one of the most prestigious University’s in Cyprus.
